Terrazza Panoramica del Gianicolo (Belvedere)

The classic Janiculum panoramic terrace, on the Passeggiata del Gianicolo just below Piazzale Garibaldi. The view spans almost the entire historic centre — from the Vatican on the right to the Vittoriano in the middle, with the Alban Hills visible on the horizon on a clear day. There's a small café nearby serving coffee and pastries, and the terrace is far less crowded than the Pincio at sunset.
