Piazza della Trinità dei Monti

The terrace square at the top of the Spanish Steps, anchored by the 13.9-metre Sallustian Obelisk and the twin-towered Renaissance-Gothic church of Trinità dei Monti — Rome's French national church. The view from the parapet over the rooftops down to Piazza di Spagna and beyond toward the Vatican is one of the city's most photographed scenes. Crucially, it's far less crowded than Piazza di Spagna below, especially for sunset photos.
